The heart of the system though lies in the Data tab. This is where you’re going to spend most of your time.

Its beauty lies in its simplicity. You can easily view all the subjects available to you or use the handy filter just to select those that you really want to focus on.

Then you’ll have the English phrase and the French conversion. Note that this isn’t a simple translation of the phrase but a translation of how the French would actually say it. Memorise these phrases to sound as natural as possible.

Not sure how to pronounce the French? Not a problem! Under the Audio column you can simply click on the Play icon to hear the French translation. You’ll want to listen to this multiple times to get it properly embedded. Note that this audio is at 100% speed, it’s deliberately not been slowed down. The French won’t be speaking at 75% so don’t try and learn at this rate.

Finally, the last column is where you’ll mark whether you’ve mastered the phrase or not. Are you able to translate the English into conversational French with great pronunciation (without looking at the French?) – if so, use the convenient drop-down to mark it as such.
